Texas State’s School of Music offers over 30 ensembles across genres—from symphony and jazz to mariachi

and opera—providing abundant performance opportunities.

In addition to weekly studio class, all music major horn students receive individualized one-on-one instruction directly from Professor Vogen.

On top of the recital hall and the state-of-the-art music technology lab, the university’s students also have access to the 69,000+ sq ft Performing Arts Center — which includes a 397-seat theatre and 312-seat recital hall equipped for professional live-streaming.
